Mrs. Fry has been teaching at North and South Decatur for seven years. In her seven years, she has had two state stars, nine district star winners, and many other district, state, and national awards. She chose Ag Ed because it is where she felt she belonged. Throughout her time at Purdue, she felt as though she really related to the other students in this major. Fry also wanted to leave an impact on students with her love of agriculture. Her advice to future ag teachers is, "Ask for help when needed because there are so many people that are willing to help. Also, don't get discouraged right away because it takes time to form a strong program.
Mr. Scott Johnson has taught at North Decatur for years, but taught at Blue River Valley beforehand.
