How many years have you been teaching?
"This is my 10th year."
What is your favorite thing about being an Ag teacher?
"Being around the students and watching them grow into awesome adults. I have seen freshman come in quiet and shy and leave as seniors as great leaders."
What has been your biggest accomplishment with your FFA program?
"I have had several first place State Proficiency Winners. I also had a group of sophomores get 4th place in State Forestry."
What made you want to teach?
My ag advisor, Mr. Chapple. He was one that always pushed me to do well and suggested going into teaching.
What advice would you give a future teacher?
Start out slow. Do the activities you know first and then add new activities the next year. Don't worry about messing up. Be up front with students. If you don't know how something goes be ok with that. Tell the students to help you learn it if they know it.
